These chrome fork top nuts are made in the original style as used on many BSA models using threaded damper rods. The fork top nuts have the internal threads to retain the damper rod.
20 TPI CEI fork top nuts are the correct original fitment for road and competition models from BSA with the internal threads for the damper rods. Made in the UK by LF Harris for:
- 1952-1962 BSA A7 and A10, 1954-1959 BSA C10, C11, C12
- 1949-1953 B31, B32, B33, B34.1962-1968 BSA A50 and A65
- 1966-1970 BSA B25 and B44
- 1968 Triumph TR25
The fork top nuts are threaded into the fork tube and seal the fork oil inside of the tube. The damper rods are threaded into the bottom of the fork cap nuts.
The fork top nuts are threaded into the fork tube using a large spanner.
IMPORTANT NOTE: These top fork nuts are 20 TPI with thread OD 1 1/16th” (1.062 “). Check the TPI of your forks before purchase to ensure fitment of these top nuts. See recommend links for a thread pitch gauge.
