The master cylinder reservoir assembly is comprised of a number of components that are subject to corrosion from contaminated brake fluid and age. The reservoir must have adequate sealing ability to contain and protect the brake fluid for optimal rear brake performance. The complete assembly is ready to fit and fill.
The master cylinder reservoir assembly is manufactured in the UK by LF Harris to exacting specifications and is a direct replacement for the original assembly, as used on the Triumph 750 models with hydraulic rear disc brakes from 1975 through 1979.
The reservoir cup assembly supplies the master cylinder with hydraulic fluid through a delivery hose. The entire assembly is sealed with an o-ring between the reservoir cup and the mounting block, and a copper washer at the junction for the outlet spigot.
The assembly is mounted directly to the coil tray. The supply hose is carefully routed to the master cylinder. Once fitted, the system must be flushed with clean brake fluid and purged of any air. Refer to the Lockheed Service Instructions Manual, Publication Ref M100/1 for detailed instructions.
LF Harris motorcycle spares are produced to the highest quality standards possible utilizing original Triumph tooling, dies, factory blueprints & materials combined with modern manufacturing equipment, tolerances & techniques.
