The bolt can be used in several applications calling for threads cut the entire shank under head.
3/8-26 x 1-1/2″ CEI bolt can be used in various capacities, such as rear shock mounting bolt, lower fork yoke pinch bolt, and frame mounting. Universal fitment to many 1950s & 1960s BSA, Triumph, Norton, Matchless and Ariel models.
The bolts can be used by threading into a tapped boss on the frame, to secure an engine plate or transmission mounting plate on a non-unit motorcycle, leaving a stud for mounting other components.
The bolt can be threaded with a nut or threaded directly into a welded-on boss.
