Triumph BSA Norton Spanner Set Whitworth
This professional quality 8-piece set of Whitworth combination box-end and open-end wrenches fits the most common fastener sizes encountered on vintage British motorcycles produced before 1975. Supplied in a storage wallet that can be wall mounted.
Included in this set of 8 spanners are the following: 1/8W, 3/16W, 1/4W, 5/16W, 3/8W, 7/16W, 1/2W, and 9/16W. Whitworth tool sizes refer to the shank diameter of the bolt, and will fit on BSW, BSF, BSC, and CEI nuts and bolts. Sourced from Laser in the UK.
These spanners are manufactured from chrome vanadium with a polished finish. The closed ends feature a Bi-Hex 12-point profile with a 15 degree offset head for faster and easier use in tight spaces.
These wrenches are used for loosening and tightening fasteners with moderate loads applied. For particularly stubborn or compromised fasteners, a 6-point socket and long ratchet may be needed for removal.
