Established in 1990, the Devon Rim Company Ltd has been a purveyor of the finest wheel goods available worldwide for vintage British motorcycles. Their “TRU” Dunlop profile and finish offer the most authentic replacement rims for the restorer. This rim is the original specification for several 1960s pre-Commando models fitted with the full-width rear drum brake, although many Commando owners retrofit a WM3-18 rear rim to take advantage of a broader selection of rear tires available for performance and off-road competition. May also be suitable for fitment to some AJS and Matchless variants.
This 40 hole WM3-18 rim is top quality Devon Valtru chrome plated steel, pierced to fit .300″ OD spoke nipples, with a width of 2.15″. The restoration-quality rim features stampings that mimic the original Dunlop patterns. Manufactured and finished in the UK.
