Ferodo

These shoes will provide the maximum stopping power you’re ever going to get from your drum brake. Top of the line Ferodo rear brake shoe set to fit most pre-unit Triumph twins and 1963 to 1970 650 twins and up to 1974 500 twins but please check your parts book for application.

Girling

This ubiquitous brake shoe set was used on many pre-unit and unit-construction BSA and Triumph models with full-width 7″ single-leading shoe front and rear brake drums.

Genuine Girling brake shoes have a premium lining bonded to the alloy casting for light weight and superior stopping power. Measuring 167mm from end to end, they are 27mm wide.

The brake shoes are retained to the brake plate by stiff springs at each end of the shoe, and the leading and trailing shoes are defined by the placement of the friction material on each brake shoe.

The wheel must be removed to allow access to the brake plate. Once the retaining springs are removed, the brake shoes can be removed and replaced in reverse order.

Unbranded

Economy replacement brake shoe set. They fit most pre-unit Triumph twins and 1963 to 1970 650 twins and up to 1974 500 twins
