Triumph BSA Norton Washer Thick 7/16″ 60-2323

This thick flat plain 7/16″ washer is used in a variety of capacities on Triumph, BSA, and Norton motorcycles, such as petrol tank mounting on the oil-in-frame models, frame bolt mounting, and center stand mounting on the Norton Commandos.

Plated with a corrosion-resistant zinc finish, this washer measures 7/16″ ID x 7/8″ OD and is 3/32″ thick. Made in the UK.

The thick flat washer helps evenly distribute the load imposed by tightening a nut on a stud or bolt. This washer can also be used in place of thinner 7/16″ ID washers when clearance and thread length is sufficient.

Is commonly used with larger diameter fasteners where a substantial washer is required under the nut to avoid deflection under load.
