The brake spring is important as it maintains the correct position of the brake shoes on the brake plate, and also assists in returning the brake shoes to their disengaged position after the brake lever is released.
The brake spring is an asymmetrical double-ended return spring used on the conical front brake plate. Made in the UK by LF Harris.
The brake spring helps maintain the correct alignment of the front brake shoes and also functions as a return spring after the front brake lever is released and the brake is disengaged. There are (2) springs used in the brake plate assembly.
The springs are located in the bodies of the brake shoes and stretched by the brake shoes to fit onto the brake lever shafts.Â
LF Harris motorcycle spares are produced to the highest quality standards possible utilizing original Triumph tooling, dies, factory blueprints & materials combined with modern manufacturing equipment, tolerances & techniques.
