This connector is important for connecting the Carburetor to the Airbox. Molded rubber is used to join the Carb directly to the Airbox. This connector ensures filtered air is directed into the mouth of the carburetor with a tight seal to minimize leakage. It is installed by stretching the flange over the mouth of the Carb and then fitting the edges into the cutaway on the Airbox.
