Description

The grommet is important as it helps to allow primary chain case oil from migrating out of the chain case through the sleeve that the stator leads pass through.

This item is appropriate for BSA and Triumph 500, 650, 750 twins from 1963-1982.

The grommet is a rubber seal that is fitted over the wire guide sleeve for the stator wires.

The grommet is fitted over the stator leads sleeve and in the later Triumph models, is used as an inner seal with the 71-1435 outer grommet as an outer seal.
