Also known as a “Bundy” pipe, this metal upper brake pipe joins the brake hoses between the top and bottom yokes of the fork assembly on the Triumph TR7, T140, and T150 models through 1978.
Manufactured in the UK to original specifications by LF Harris, the overall length of the pipe is approximately 8″ from end to end.
The pipe has a special bend to allow it to fit neatly between the fork yokes. There are flares at each end of the pipe that make a seal with the compression nuts when the nuts are tightened down over the male threads of the brake hoses.
The hydraulic brake fluid must be drained from the brake lines prior to removing the pipe from the junctions with the brake hoses. Once installed, the fluid is replaced and the air must be purged from the system. Details on hydraulic brake service are outlined in the factory workshop manual.Â
LF Harris motorcycle spares are produced to the highest quality standards possible utilizing original Triumph tooling, dies, factory blueprints & materials combined with modern manufacturing equipment, tolerances & techniques.
