Triumph Chrome Fork Top Nut Set 97-0432

These chrome fork top nuts are important for the restorer looking for the correct original specification for the TR5 models, although they can be fitted to the nacelle models also.

26 TPI CEI threads are correct fitment for the pre-unit forks used on Triumph twins from 1951-1959. Made in the UK by LF Harris and fit: 1951-1959 Triumph 3T, 5T, 6T, TR5, T100, T110. 

They feature the internal spring locators under the top fork nut. They are not drilled to accept the damper rods on many 1950s Triumph models.

The fork top nuts are threaded into the fork tube and seal the fork oil inside of the tube using a large spanner.

(Note: 97-0432 is correct fitment for the TR5 model and has the internal threads for damper rod. 97-0432A is correct for 3T, 5T,6T, T100, T110.) 

IMPORTANT NOTE: These top fork nuts are 26 TPI with thread OD 1 1/16th” (1.062 “). Check the TPI of your forks before purchase to ensure fitment of these top nuts. See recommend links for a thread pitch gauge.
