Widely specified for the later Triumph pre-unit and early unit-construction twins, this tail lamp and license plate mounting bracket is supplied in a black finish. Very nice reproduction of the original rear fender number plate. May also be suitable fitment for the T20 Cub models.
This economically-priced reproduction stamped steel bracket is pre-drilled for the Lucas 564-type tail lamp assembly. The forward mounting stay and lower fender mounting holes are slotted for easy mounting and alignment. There are no holes drilled for license plate mounting. Made in Taiwan.
The mounting bracket is fitted to the rear fender to display the license plate and tail lamp assembly. There is a slight cutaway at the lower fixing points to clear the rib that is present on some rear mudguards fitted to pre-unit Triumph models.
The tail lamp can be installed prior to fitting the bracket to the rear mudguard. Drilling may be required for fixing the license plate to the panel. The bracket installation is straightforward and can usually be fitted with the rear wheel installed.
