This reproduction front fender lower stay is specified for the 1966-1968 Triumph 500 and 650 models originally fitted with a single-leading front brake plate and both painted and stainless steel fenders with a single hole for the stay mounting. The stays are straight at the front fixing points with a single mounting tab for the fender.
Featuring heavy-duty construction and a black finish, the stay measures approximately 4.5″ wide across the rear loop and is approximately 13.75″ in overall length. Made in the UK by TJ Wassell.
The fender stays support the front mudguard and provide rigidity for the fork under swift cornering and hard braking. The correct dimensions are critical to fitment and safe operation of the motorcycle.
The lower stay is mounted to the rearward part of the front fender, secured with a nut and bolt through the drilled hole on the fender. The front fixing points of the stays are attached directly to the fender stay tabs on each fork lower.Â
