Triumph 1971-73 T120 Bonneville Stainless Tank Trim Short PN# 83-3134 S F13134 S

Restore the correct US-spec look on your oil-in-frame Bonneville with this stainless steel front tank trim strip, made to replace Triumph OEM 83-3134 / F13134 on 1971–72 T120 models that used the short center styling strip and very early 1973 Triumph Bonneville slim line tanks with the center rib. Precision-formed in stainless (not chrome-plated mild steel), it offers long-lasting corrosion resistance, a bright finish, and a direct fit on original 2-gallon US tanks using the stock “J” hook and rosette hardware.

Reproduction stainless petrol tank trim strip is designed to cover the front seam on the top of the early Triumph oil-in-frame petrol tank. (Rear strip is sold under part number 83-3135). This front strip measures 8-11/16″ (excluding the fixing hook).

Fitment:

The trim strip is the central beading holder for an assembly to finish off the appearance of the petrol tank. The beading holder also secures the tank to the frame with the associated hardware.

The strip is clipped into position at the front of the tank, then retained by the beading holder at the center mounting point on the top of the tank.
