This mudguard is the correct fitment for the 1976-1978 Triumph T140 models with painted fenders.

The genuine Speedwell mudguard is made in the UK and features the correct ‘D’ shaped profile and indents for the wiring harness and battery carrier clearance. Supplied undrilled and unfinished in mild steel and should be carefully prepped prior to painting

The T140 rear fender serves as the mount for the tail lamp assembly and is supported by a cross bridge between the top shock absorber mounts and a bracket welded to the rear frame loop.

The mudguard is loosely fitted to the mounting points to check alignment and establish the position for the drilled holes. A stepped drill bit is useful for drilling through the heavy gauge steel.
