The Superbike bend handlebar features a lower rise for a more forward-leaning riding position reminiscent of the medium to large displacement sport motorcycles from the 1970s and 1980s. Ideal for a café racer treatment without the extreme forward weight distribution imposed by clubman or clip-on handlebars.
The BikeMaster chrome-plated 7/8″ handlebar features a rise of 3″, overall width of 29.25″, 3″ pullback, and a center section of 4″. Suitable fitment to most British motorcycles from the 1960s and 1970s.
The handlebar is generally mounted to the top yoke with risers or cast-in clamps. There needs to be adequate width to accommodate switchgear, control levers, and a front brake master cylinder, where applicable.
When retrofitting a different style of handlebar from the original, cables often need to be changed to achieve correct fitment.
