Fuel banjos are used to connect fuel delivery hose to the carburetor’s fuel chamber. The 60 degree banjo fitting is commonly used on 1960s Triumph and BSA models equipped with Amal Monobloc carburetors, as well as the 1971-1978 oil-in-frame models specified with Amal Concentric carburetors.

This reproduction Amal-type fuel banjo is configured in a 60 degree pattern and is suitable for use with 5/16″ ID fuel hose. Ideal for constructing custom fuel line assemblies.

Banjo fittings are made in various configurations with different angles for the barbed inlet pipes and in some instances, are available with either 1/4″ or 5/16″ inlet pipes.

The banjo fitting is attached to the carburetor with a hollow bolt that allows fuel to flow freely into the float chamber. An internal strainer serves as a filter and seal between the banjo and the needle seating block on Monobloc carburetors and Concentric float bowls.
