Triumph Rigid Mount Top Yoke Handlebar Clamp Kit UNF 97-0722 21-0589 60-2330
This handlebar mounting kit is complete with the clamps, bolts, and washers for the Triumph C-range 500 twins and B-range 650 competition models specified with the integral handlebar mounts from 1967-1974.
The kit features (2) 21-0589 5/16-24 TPI UNF chrome domed bolts, measuring 1-1/8″ UH, (2) 60-2330 plain washers, and (2) 97-0722 cast handlebar mounting clamps finished in black. Suitable for use on 1967 and later Triumph models with the rigid-mounted handlebar top yoke. Made in the UK.
The rigid-mounted handlebar system was specified on the competition models where absolute steering control under rough off-road conditions at speed was enhanced at the expense of vibration reduction.
The clamping bolts are threaded directly into the integral handlebar mounts on the top fork yoke. A washer under the head of each bolt against the clamp helps minimize friction while the bolts are torqued down, securing the desired handlebar position.
