Triumph Upper Front Brake Hose 60-4176
The Girling name is a legacy brand that dates back to the 1920s and has long been known for innovation and quality brake parts. A completely new lineup of motorcycle brake components are now available replicating the original equipment as specified for BSA, Norton, and Triumph motorcycles.
The upper brake hose measures 13.5″ and is the correct fitment for the Triumph 750 models with US-specification “high” handlebars through 1978. The hose features a protective rubber sheath at the threaded end. Genuine Girling made in the UK.
The hose supplies pressurized hydraulic brake fluid from the master cylinder through a banjo fitting to a junction at the upper fork yoke. The junctions are sealed by copper washers.
The banjo fitting is secured to the master cylinder outlet with a special bolt and sealing washers. A separate rubber boot covers the junction at the banjo fitting and master cylinder. The threaded end of the hose locates in the top fork yoke and is joined to a metal pipe to supply hydraulic fluid downstream to the brake caliper.
