These fork top nuts are of the one-piece design that was originally used on the 1971-1972 oil-in-frame 650 models, 750 triples, and BSA B50. They are polished stainless steel and do not have the shallow recess on the top for the decal. 20 TPI fitment for use in the 1971-1972 conical brake forks. Will fit:
1971-1972 BSA and Triumph 650 and 750 models
1971-1972 BSA B50.
The one-piece fork top nuts have the extended tip to locate the internal spring. They are tightened down using a large spanner and seal the fork oil in the fork tube and secure the instrument mounting brackets.
IMPORTANT NOTE: These top fork nuts are 20 TPI with thread OD 1 3/16th” (1.187″). Check the TPI of your forks before purchase to ensure fitment of these top nuts. See recommend links for a thread pitch gauge.
