The special tabbed clamping washers are necessary for properly mounting the turn signal stalks and MCH69 headlamp assembly to the wire headlamp brackets, as used on the 1971-1972 BSA and Triumph oil-in-frame models. Four of these washers are used on the headlamp assembly.
Chrome-plated and made in the UK, this washer has an overall width of 1-1/8″, including the locating tabs. The ID measures 7/16″.
There are (2) washers on each side of the wire headlamp mounting bracket, allowing the turn signal stalk to pass through each washer and into the threaded boss on the headlamp shell.
Once positioned over the loop on the wire mounting bracket, each washer is held into place with the guide tabs, allowing the turn signal stalk to be tightened into place into the headlamp shell boss.Â
