This set of matched inlet and exhaust rocker box assemblies is suitable for fitment to the unit-construction Triumph 650 models 1963-1970. The restoration-quality castings are manufactured to original specifications and are supplied complete with rocker spindles, rocker arms, polished rocker inspection caps, spring clips, and mounting studs installed.
Sourced from Tri-Cor in the UK, this reproduction set of rocker boxes are completely assembled and ready for service. May also be adapted for fitment to the 1971-1972 models if the locating pins are removed from the later cylinder head.
The integrity of the rocker box housings is important for the correct function of the rocker components and is key to completing an oil-tight top end on the Triumph 650 engine.
The removal and re-installation of the rocker boxes involves removing the petrol tank and head steadies to access the mounting hardware. Refer to the factory workshop manual for details on the procedure.
