The inlet camshaft nut secures the inlet cam pinion to the camshaft and also drives the oil pump.
The nut uses left-hand threads to prevent it from loosening off in service. Made in the UK from LF Harris.
The nut not only retains the cam pinion onto the inlet camshaft, it also drives the oil pump.
It is installed by threading onto the end of the inlet camshaft counter-clockwise.
