Superb quality Triumph gear indicator plate (57-1417) with two stainless rivets (60-4255) and fits 350 & 500 unit twins (T90, T100C, T100R) from 1957-1974. The gear indicator plate completes the assembly of the inner gearbox cover on Triumph 500 models. It allows riders to determine gear selection at a glance while riding.
The plate is a small scale that is attached to the top of the inner gearbox cover. A pointer is timed by the camplate to show the current gear or neutral selected.
The plate is attached to the cover with two “hammer-drive” rivets (PN# 60-4255). The pointer moves as the gears are shifted to indicate gear selection.
