This is the correct seat for the Norton Commando 850 Interstate models from 1973-1974. The gold logo is prominently stenciled onto the rear of the seat. Not compatible with the MK3 models.
Very nice reproduction of the Interstate seat, complete with the wide chrome inlaid trim strip and gold logo. Sourced from Velocette in the UK.
The thick and generous seat foam is well suited for longer rides on the Interstate model, as designated as the long-range touring model from Norton. The hooked stays align with the special suspension unit top bolts and are secured with a knurled nut on each side.
The simple, straightforward design allows the stays on each side of the seat to be retracted from the collared upper shock mounting bolts.Â
