The points cover is a prominent aesthetic part on the timing cover of the Commando models. The cover protects the ignition system from the elements and adds some custom styling to the motorcycle.
This cover is an attractive US-made machined aluminum upgrade over the original cover for the side-points Norton models. The Norton logo is laser etched into the flat cover. Requires 2BA x 3/4″ screws.
The points cover protects the contents of the timing chest on the timing cover.
The cover is retained on the timing cover with two 2BA screws.
