BSA Rocket Goldstar Silencers 42-2896

Patterned after the famous BSA DBD34 Goldstar “Twitter” silencer, this set of silencers are intended for fitment to A10, A50, or A65 twin-cylinder models with 1-1/2″ OD exhaust pipes. Perfect for an A65 Clubman special build, and depending on the applications, may also be suitable for use on custom chopper projects. Some minor modifications to the integrated mounting brackets may be necessary for some applications.

Sourced from Emgo, this matched pair of replica Rocket Goldstar-type silencers feature an attractive chrome-plated finish and integrated mounting tabs, with an overall length of 29″ and an inlet diameter of 1-1/2″. Will not fit the 1-3/4″ exhaust pipes as fitted to the DBD34 Goldstar models.

This style of silencers produces a throaty exhaust note and will offer the appearance of the original Goldstar muffler, but without the odd “twittering” sound on the overrun, as noted on the original big single-cylinder Goldstar models.

The inlets of the silencers fit over the ends of the exhaust pipes and are secured with clamps. The integrated mounting brackets are attached to the fixing points on the frames and may require a separate stay extension in some instances. It is advisable to loosen the exhaust system while fitting the silencers to allow for adjustments in the alignment prior to tightening down the hardware.

Chromers are frequently using trivalent in their processes. “It’s just not the same color. Hexavalent has that clear blue sheen, but trivalent is more grayish and smoky.
