Description

The Girling name is a legacy brand that dates back to the 1920s and has long been known for innovation and quality brake parts. A completely new lineup of motorcycle brake components is now available replicating the original equipment as specified for BSA, Norton, and Triumph motorcycles.

The armoured brake hose measures 21.5″ long and features a protective spring spanning the length of the hose. Banjo fittings are fitted to each end of the hose, making it compatible with the “over slung” rear brake caliper as fitted to the 1979 and later Triumph TR7 and T140 models. Made in the UK.

The hose supplies pressurized hydraulic brake fluid from the master cylinder to the brake caliper when the brake pedal is depressed.

The hose is fitted between the master cylinder and brake caliper with banjo bolts, sealed with copper washers. After replacing the hose, the hydraulic system must be bled to purge any air from the system.
