The early unit-construction Triumph twins equipped with rear tinware panels, such as the Triumph 3TA Twenty-One, 5TA Speed Twin, and 6T Thunderbird were specified with a slightly longer 4-3/8″ stud joining the rear frame to the top of the front frame.
This genuine UK-made 3/8″ frame mounting stud is used to secure the rear frame to the front frame section. Overall length measures 4-3/8″ with 26 TPI CEI threads. Zinc plated for an attractive corrosion-resistant finish.
This durable stud provides reliable frame assembly and features the correct CEI threads for authentic fit and finish. Can also be used as an engine plate stud on later Triumph pre-unit models.
The stud is secured to the frame with nuts and spring washers on both ends of the fastener.
