The Dunlop K81 tires were developed in the late 1960s to offer a performance upgrade for the new breed of “Superbikes” introduced to the market, the Triumph Trident and Norton Commando. Today’s 4.10-19 K81 tires are H-rated for speed and can be fitted to WM2-19 and WM3-19 rims, either in front or rear positions. May also be suitable for fitment to later BSA A75 Rocket 3 models.
With a load/speed index of 60H, tread depth of 9/32″, and overall width of 4.17″, the tube-type Dunlop K81 4.10-19 features a blackwall carcass and is a true replica of the original “TT100” series. Suitable for use in front or rear wheel applications on the 1971-later Norton Commandos and Triumph T160 models. 1978 and later Triumph T140 models also were originally equipped with Dunlop K81 tires.
