1974 Matching Numbers Commando in Packwood WA USA. I grew up watching the Norton battle the Harley Davidsons on the dirt track. I loved the sounds and the look of the Nortons. So I did a cosmetic rebuild with a dirt tracker in mind. It has two fronts, one aluminum with a number plate and a fiberglass faring with a windshield. The number on the side covers are static cling and easily removed. I did not open the engine or transmission.
I have a list available of the parts installed and work completed and many more pictures available by request. The engine has a Boyer ignition. It sounds good and has 150 compression on both cylinders. I would like to get $7500. It comes with all of the spare parts, fairing mold, windshield buck, Whitworth and Norton tools and several books and manuals. I also have the reproduction JPN parts I removed for sale for $500 which will be included. The odometer reads 3,485 miles. I don’t know the history before I got it, but I assume that is not correct.
