1973 Triumph Bonneville 750 (T140V) project bike for sale.  We found this bike in my father’s barn when we moved him out of the property.  It’s been sitting for many years, but looks to be a solid restoration piece.  Looking at your site, I thought this might be the right place to find a someone who would enjoy owning and restoring it.
This is a non-running bike in rough condition, but has great fundamentals.
Details:
Clean title in my name
Matching numbers
Engine isn’t seized
5 speed transmission
Dual carbs
Original seat, gauges with most components still in place.
Condition:
Classic barn find. Â Original (though faded) Cherokee red and cold white paint with less than 1,500 original miles.
Dusty, rusty in spots, shot tires and will need a full mechanical and cosmetic restoration. Â
That said, it’s mostly complete and hasn’t been chopped or modified.
Historical Note:
This bike dates from the year of the infamous Meriden worker strike, a pivotal moment in Triumph’s history that eventually led to the closure of the Meriden factory.  While not exceptionally rare, it adds extra character to this Bonnie (and could explain why the 1973 model year comes with factory original 1974 paint job)
Asking $2,000 OBO.
Located in Rocky River Ohio. Â Local pick up only (bring a trailer).
I can provide additional photos and answer any questions.
