Don’t wast your money.Pump was full of grit and was dirty inside.Gasket does not match pump.Save your money and buy a Hepolite or Morgo pump…Does not even come close to the Quality I was expecting..The pump is the heart of your engine so don’t cut corners .Spend the extra money and buy the best…

Hi Phil, thanks for your review. We’re glad you took the recommended course and disassembled the pump to blow out any manufacturing swarf before installation! That’s a key step with carbs to, lest most folks forget. The pump you purchased is actually manufactured by LF Harris who owns the original drawings and manufacturing equipment from Triumph – it’s as OEM as they come.
Regarding your concerns on the gasket, have no fear! Triumph actually changed the design of the pump to what you see in the LFH pump to improve its performance during idol (it was with the T140 models I believe but are perfectly compatible with the earlier models). One thing they didn’t change? The gasket. So, while the pump has oval holes and the gasket maintained the circle cutouts, they are still fit as originally intended by Triumph and work great!
We love all the options we sell for oil pumps; Hepolite and Emgo included. This LFH pump remains our best seller of the bunch and a top-quality choice. We can’t help but feel especially drawn to it being as that it’s UK made and as identical to the original Triumph oil pumps as it gets!
