Speedwell mudguards are the most authentically reproduced mudguards on the market. This rear guard is constructed of heavy gauge mild steel and is supplied unfinished. Correct fitment for the UK and US-specification 1964-1965 Triumph T90, T100, TR6, and T120 models with painted guards, as well as the 1966-1967 UK-market models.
Made in the UK with original tooling, the unfinished and undrilled steel fender features the correct razor edge, indents and reliefs for the chainguard and oil tank clearance. Sanding and careful prep work, including drilling will be required prior to painting. The overall length of the guard from tip to tip is 30-1/2″, with a width of 6″.
The rear mudguard not only provides protection to the motorcycle from the elements but also serves as a fixing point for the tail lamp and license plate brackets.
The rear mudguard is fixed to the front frame section with a bracket mounted to the forward lower section of the guard. A bridge is attached to the top of the guard and is secured to the rear frame section by the shock absorber mounting bolts. It is recommended that drilling the holes for the mounting brackets and test fitting to the motorcycle be performed prior to painting the guard, minimizing the risk of damaging the finish during installation.
