The classic Norman Hyde ‘Western’ handlebars have been a popular bend for replicating the vintage look and feel for many years. The 1″ diameter offers fitment options for modern Triumph models, as well as American, European, and Japanese makes.
The classic bend of the 1″ diameter ‘Western’ bar replicates the Triumph 97-1870, which is a dirt-track racing favorite. The perfect complement for a street-tracker conversion. Overall width is approximately 32″, with a 5″ rise. Beautifully chromed and quality manufactured in the UK.
The ideal handlebar will suit the rider’s desired riding position and accommodate the control levers and switch consoles. Cable lengths may have to be adjusted to suit after retrofitting this handlebar to a motorcycle with a substantially different handlebar arrangement.
The original handlebar controls and switchgear must be removed and transferred to the new handlebar, with care taken to inspect the cable and wiring lengths to ensure top performance and safety.
Please note: Due to varying bans on the use of hexavalent chrome in the chroming process, this item will have varying appearance different than OEM standards. Chromers are frequently using trivalent in their processes. “It’s just not the same color. Hexavalent has that clear blue sheen, but trivalent is more grayish and smoky. Trivalent will not replace the look of hexavalent.”
