The bush is captured inside the rubber buffer in the cupped washer, forming a support for the hemispherical washer in the handlebar mounting assembly.
The bush is a small sleeve that the handlebar mounting eyebolt clamp passes through, preventing the rubber buffer from being crushed when the handlebar mounting eyebolt is tightened.Â
The bush is pressed into the center of the rubber washer, which is housed in the cup. The handlebar mounting system is designed to help minimize vibrations felt at the handlebar by the rider.
