The 169SA-type lighting switch console controls the high/low beam and horn functions and can be used on either side of the handlebar, although it is most commonly used as the left hand side switch gear.
This lighting switchgear is appropriate for:
- BSA A65, A70, A75, B25, B50 models from 1971-1972
- Norton Commandos from 1971-1972
- Triumph TR6C, TR6R T120R, T150 models from 1971-1974Â
- 1973 Triumph X75
The complete assembly is a reproduction of the Lucas 169SA handlebar lighting switch gear from Sparx, used predominantly on BSA and Triumph front drum-brake and early front disc brake models.
The switchgear is used in conjunction with the fitted wiring harness to connect the lighting and horn circuits to the main harness.
The switch console is fitted to the appropriate right or left lever half, which mounts the control lever. The wires are connected to the wiring harness with bullet connectors and sleeves.
