Triumph 350 500 650 Tiger Bonneville Lower Fork Bush Nuts (2) 1964-67 PN# 97-1058

Description

The bottom fork nuts retain the lower fork bushings and are internally tapered to fit the contour of the oil restrictors in the bottom of the fork lower members. This kit includes a matching set of (2) nuts.

The lower bearing nuts are precision manufactured to original factory specifications by LF Harris in the UK. This set of fork nuts are machined with 26 TPI CEI threads, suitable for fitment to the 1964-1967 Triumph twins with the pre-shuttle valve forks.

The special round nuts have four notches cut into the flanges which necessitates the use of a special spanner to tighten the nuts into the bottom end of the stanchion tubes. We offer the lower fork nut tool under part number TBS-60-0527.

The fork tube assemblies must be disassembled to access the lower fork bushing nuts. Consult the factory workshop manual for complete fork assembly instructions.
